1. What is acceptance for you?
Acceptance for me means that you appreciate and respect everything about someone even though they may be different than you. Acceptance is an appreciation that we are not all made the same, but we still hold space to admire people’s individuality.

2. What’s your favourite holiday?
I am a holiday geek, but if I am only able to choose one it would be Christmas.

3. Who’s in your village?
My village is so full of love, kindness, and empathy and for that I am very lucky. I get to thank my loving partner, incredible family and my chosen family (friends) for that.

4. Why did you join Autism Edmonton?
I started out at Autism Edmonton as a practicum student and was asked to stay on after I completed my hours. In a way, it’s like Autism Edmonton chose me. This is something I have been very grateful for since day one, I have done a tremendous amount of learning in my time here and am so appreciative to be part of a team who does so much for the community it serves.

5. What is your favourite book, author or movie?
Reading is something I do often in my free time and it would be near impossible for me to pick my favourite author, I will say though that throughout all the years, and all the books, Catcher in the Rye is one I have been able to read numerous times and constantly fall in love with all over again.
